What is Elder Planning?

Elder planning is a type of estate planning that protects your assets in the event that you need either in-home or nursing home care. It comes as a surprise to many that Medicare does not cover such services and that those services can cost as much as several hundred dollars per day.

How do you decide which law firm is right for you?  We approach each client's needs holistically.  Most of our estate planning products are flat rate, which means you never get billed for taking the time to talk to us.  We have spent time doing our homework on elder care professionals so you do not have to.  We work with a network of elder care professionals to help you meet all of your goals, not just your legal ones.  If you have a questions about your journey, we know professionals who can help you, and we will refer you to them without any additional cost to you (or profit to us).  For example, do you need a company that specializes in installation of ramps?  We know one.  Do you need to know what assisted living facilities accept Medicaid?  We know.

Aging does not have to be financially difficult. With proper planning, our office can assist you with determining the best plan for you and your family moving forward, and we do so at flat rate prices. This means that if you have questions, concerns, or need to vent about the difficulties of going through this process, we will not be charging you a fee for each conversation or additional visit to our office.
